A number of his 12 points are promising

I could get behind points 1, 2 and 3 right now.

Others, like 4 and 6, are as yet rather high-level. Not to say they can't be developed into something workable. But you know...Devil, meet details.

5...well, fine. We know Obamacare is going down. If this is how the next admin decides to deal with it, then I hope they have the integrity to do it in good faith.

Number 7 is quite cool. I wonder where else a similar approach could be taken.

Number 8 is kinda like saying "let's make it work better." It'd be a start, I suppose. If we really want to compete against India and China, the cost of American labor will have to drop. This is where deflation could become quite handy.

9 strikes me as a big ol' stretch of Blue Sky. Parents who are motivated to involve themselves in their kid's education already do so. Those who are not so motivated...well, you know.

10 & 11...yeah sure, ok. On 10, he left out an important point, though: conservatives need to make inroads into education by becoming teachers and administrators.

12 - I think there'd be benefit in enhancing how capitalism, entrepreneurship and democracy are taught. Teach students how and why America works, and why it succeeds...and at the same time, give them the tools they need to flourish. Sure, the historical paperwork is important, but it's only part of the story.
