I do not consider the existence of stupid people a justification to enslave all the rest of us. But I did expect exactly that answer from you.
If parents don't raise children according to the standards of the Almighty State, then they are automatically signing over their liberties to that State. After all, if you're free to make choices, you might make the wrong ones. Those, of course, being defined by that same State.
