Which is fine, of course...except...
...when it means having to replace a DVD or CD collection! (Yes Blue-Ray, I'm talking about YOU!)
Actually, I think we may have turned a corner in that regard. Namely, streaming media, an idea whose time has finally come. I don't buy DVDs anymore, I watch movies and tv shows online. And I haven't bought a CD in over a year, not with so much good online radio available (Pandora and Slacker, among many others).
So now I laugh at changing formats. Ha. Ha ha. New format? Well guess what...there's an app for that!
