A billionaire's riches don't take one damn nickel out of my pocket without my consent. They don't bother me in the least. I live in Silicon Valley, where almost everyone has more money than I do. That doesn't bother me either. In fact, I intend to join the crowd if I can.
This is another phony "problem" designed to justify forced wealth redistribution.
That's pretty much it. You talk about me posting the "same old stuff." The "income inequality" card is the oldest arrow in the quiver of the looters.
"You have more than I do. I think I need it more than you do. I get to take it away from you."
Note the underlying premise of the entire issue is that somehow wealth is a natural resource, floating out there in midair, and that some people are "harvesting" more than their fair share. Wealth is created, Eri. The Left cannot stand that idea, and will obscure it at every opportunity.
A corollary premise of the issue is that some among us should be given the godlike power to decide who gets to keep how much of what they earn, and who doesn't.
Note that nations that have put income equality above all else have, universally, ended up as an equality of poverty. Except for the leadership living in immense luxury. These ideas have destroyed every nation where they have been consistently applied. Every single one. As I said in another post, how many examples do people need of the fruits of an idea?
Incidentally, Timothy Noah is the son of a wealthy Beverly Hills television producer who graduated from Harvard. I doubt he worked his way through college. Oddly, a lot of Marxists hail from such backgrounds. Guilt?
