The concept "define" presumes some something that CAN be defined. Basically, objective reality is everything that's still there when you're not. Typically, a "philosopher" will try to downgrade the concept of reality primarily because reality isn't what he wants it to be.

Philosopher: "There are no absolutes!"

Me: "Are you sure? None at all?"
