At first I also thought ET was just throwing random crap, until I finally understood how he misinterpreted VRB's original reply to my first post.

It sounded like "Beat me to it" referred to the shooting itself, not me scooping VRB on the story, which is how I saw it. The other interpretation had to be pointed out to me.

ET saw it the other way, made a mistake, and shot without thinking it through.

ET realized his mistake, but pointed it out on a completely different thread.

Then VRB put a reply in the wrong place that was unclear on its object, and it mistakenly looked like he was calling out Buck.

Buck made a mistake, and shot without thinking it through.

VRB's posts were not thought through very well either, and until just now, he had no edit capability to try and fix things and was basically up the creek.

Now everybody's buzzing around like a bunch of African killer bees.

Cut everyone a little slack.

Sit down, preferably on your hands, and wait for things to settle out. M'kay?
