A lot of us have a "memory lane." Leftists don't. They can't, and still maintain their ideology. It's gotten to be a running joke to post a Democrat's position on something, and then follow it with the same Democrat taking exactly the opposite position three or four years ago.
Most recent examples include filibusters and the debt ceiling.
