It's a long time to 2012, but at this point it would take a pretty good Republican candidate - a knowledgable conservative - to knock Obama out of the Oval Office with the mainstream media running full defense for him. Good Lord, look at what the media did during the 2008 election. I have never seen a more blatant case of fawning worship and enabling of their chosen candidate combined with virulent and endless attacks on his opposition. Note that MSNBC is one of the worst offenders.

This report shows the ratios. I see no reason this "Pravda for the Democrats" mode will change before 2012.

My hope is taking back the Senate. We did fairly well in the 90s with a Republican House and Senate and a Democratic president. And the more socialists we weed out of the legislative process, the better.
