They are (good for general health)

I'm mostly following that now and have dropped a lot of weight. Unfortunately, sometimes I eat something I shouldn't and I pay for it.

There has been a line of thought that believes MS is related to allergies or exacerbated by allergies and that saturated fat also exacerbates it. Someday, they'll figure it all out but, until they do, I did what I had to. Once that initial attack was over, I've never had another symptom. I gave up diet coke (I had been drinking a liter a day) and made other dietary changes as noted earlier. Of course, the research on aspartame does show that rats/mice on high dosages of aspartame, would end up with lesions on their brains. That's one reason I keep telling people to get off diet drinks and stay off. If I want a coke, I have the regular with sugar. I maybe allow myself one every couple of weeks. Once you get your system totally cleaned out, you can "cheat" a bit. I also have red meat once in awhile but not very frequently. I do like my moo (a medium well steak).
