Today's Democrats? "Power for the people??" Stop reading the party labels and look at the ingredients. Today's Democrats believe the government should control every aspect of our lives. Feel free to point out any policy or idea they've come up in your lifetime that involves more freedom and choice for the individual and less power and authority for the State.
The same people who were once all about "freedom" and "questioning authority" have now found out how good it is to be The Man.
The Republicans...better, but not by a hell of a lot. I have hopes for the current crop, but I had hopes for the 1994 crop, too.
