do Democrats feel so threatened? If what you say is indeed the case? I know how basic this question sounds.
It becomes so convoluted that I just throw up my hands at times...but I suspect I am not alone in this. Not a good thing to do because I walk a fine line with complacency at times.

I do understand sacrifice...but even then that is subjective.
When there are so many entitlements *going out*....what do *entitlement* people feel they are sacrificing? (an actual conversation with a friend actually comes to mind, when she voted for Obama:" I can go to college now, Obama will see to that")

I understand ER's perspective. I am speaking of the *entitlement* population...the ones who have not done what it requires to secure their future...or feels the government should take care of them.
