I still hear idiots saying we can fix it all by scrapping the Bush tax cuts.

Here's the problem with that.

You see, what everybody found out last year when Obama was talking about extending those tax cuts, is that the Democrats were lying when they said they were only "tax cuts for the rich." 80 percent of those tax cuts went to people with incomes under $250,000. All those years. The Democrats are still lying about this now.

We heard a lot in the news about the $700 billion tax cuts for the wealthy would cost the government over the next ten years. We didn't hear much about the $3.2 trillion the middle-class tax cuts would cost the government over that same time. Didn't fit the agenda.

Get rid of the Bush tax cuts and 80 percent of the hit will happen to those with incomes under $250,000. Get rid of them only for the rich, and it will increase revenues $60 or $70 billion a year. Feel free to look up the current budget projections and apply that number to each year's deficits.

Like he says, let's make this clear, then vote.
