More relevant today? Remember, Hubble had just proven that the universe was not just one single Milky Way galaxy, but billions, perhaps an infinite number, of others just like it. And furthermore, that universe was expanding.
That may be the single most fundamental statement one can make about reality. And what is really amazing to me is that there are people alive today who were born before that was understood.
