I've been at home watching MSNBC most of the day. I have never been more disgusted in my life with our government. This whole sordid mess in the media is about the Democrats saying Republicans want women to suffer and to remove their 'right' to healthcare.

Why don't they just say what they're implying... "Republicans want to kill women". Because it's absurd thats why.

The Democrats claim that no federal money goes to fund the over 300,000 abortions performed by planned parenthood annually. While it's true there are no funds 'earmarked' for abortion, the government is still providing them with 363 million in funding. If this money goes to family planing and health screening, then this frees non-government funds for abortions.What do they think we are, Stupid?

And what about the Republicans interjecting this age old social squabble as the deal breaker? You can blame the Democrats for pandering to those they've made dependent on the federal government- in order to harvest their votes. But just as infuriating are the Republicans, mining political power from the bible-thumping, gay-bashing self-righteous Evangelicals.

It's a dark day if you ask me.
