This is fascinating. I remember when I worked in the air photo biz, we used to send all our used film processing chemicals to a lab where the silver could be recovered. Today, with the sudden conversion to digital photography, the industrial demand for silver for film emulsions must have plummeted to zilch. How will this affect the price of silver? Are there other major industrial uses besides film photography?
