Had a job doing that grunt work in college

It was for the Minnesota Land Management Information System, and our job was to take data and maps set up by someone else and code them into a computer. Sat all day at a green screen with a section grid on it, and entered some number or letter into each space on the grid corresponding to roads, vegetation type, population, or something else. Move to next space, enter another number. When the grid is complete, hit "enter." Needless to say, each section had several separate grids.

Eh, it was a living.
