The Democrats spent two years not on economic growth, but on trying to get every socialist wet dream they could think of enacted. The result was continued economic recession combined with routine trillion-plus deficits.
The 2010 election was America's verdict on this. The worst mid-term House loss by a party since 1938. Had all of the Senate been up for re-election the Democrats wouldn't even have the Senate right now.
What's remarkable is how Democrats have deliberately destroyed every neuron in their own mind that contains that information. To listen to them talk, you'd think they'd picked up 50 seats in the House.
I guess the Left is primarily talking to itself now. The rest of us are waiting for next November, and trying to limit the damage.
