Most of what you believe isn't factual. As I pointed out - several times - the entire cost of the Afghanistan and Iraq wars to date are less than the Federal deficit for just this year. When someone tells you we're in this hole just because of wars, you are talking to a fool. "Social spending?" Remember my "highlighter" exercise? It's obvious you didn't do it.
On a slightly related note, it's interesting to listen to liberals wail about the bureaucratic jobs lost from reducing government spending and then turn around and demand massive defense cuts, as though those civilian and military jobs somehow don't count.
The Left doesn't think, Bowser. It doesn't learn, it doesn't incorporate new information, it doesn't make connections with that information. It's not logical or even internally consistent. It's a set of deep mental ruts that hasn't significantly changed in fifty years or longer. I watched as the Democrats and the President over the past three years made slight motions toward the edges of the rut, and then, last April, settled firmly back into the bottom.
One more year.
