I missed it all, since my planned visit to this site last night was headed off at the pass by events in the real world.

Up to the point where I left my last post, everyone seemed to display plenty of class. That means you. That means Larry. That means Alcaray.

I also did my best to stay above name-calling, insults and below-the-belt attacks. And thought I did okay.

That was the best flame thread I think I've seen anywhere. Barely deserved the name 'flame.' And people were really hashing things out.

I'm sorry I missed your final post, since I'm sure it maintained the level of respect and civility that had prevailed throughout.

I don't like censorship, and don't understand why it was employed in this case. At a time when America is about to launch a war in defense of the freedoms which exemplify the American way of life - such as free speech - this censorship seems amazingly inappropriate.

But that's just my opinion. It seems there's no point wasting energy and words on the Flame Board.

Well, it was nice trying to work through our differences over here. Too bad it wasn't permitted to continue.

See you over at Current Events and Space News.

Thanks for a healthy and civilized debate - while it lasted.
