Is it just me or does the Olympics judging really suck this year?

I was watching the Moguls last night and couldn't believe the guy that did the dinner roll was beat out by a bunch of pansies doing twists in the air. The announcer and Judge would go crazy about what looked like Richard Simmons Workout for beginners and would yawn when a talented kid pulled off some amazing tricks.

Then there's the ice skating. I won't even go into the Russkies colluding with the French to give the Gold to their pairs. What I couldn't stand watching was that when the Russky fell down he still ranked better than some who did flawless performances that weren't quite as hard. Give me a break even I can try and do a quad and fail to land it. (of course I would fail to land a simple skate onto the ice, but that's beside the point) If he can't land it than he shouldn't rank better than someone doing a perfect triple.
