Flame » in reply to Nick's Static Theory on a Dynamical Mars

The one thing I can be sure of...

...is that my model for Mars is wrong.

All models are just ideas to help understand things that we've never met before.

I'm equally confident that the Blue Mars models are also wrong.

These wrongnesses in both models are certain in the details and possible to probable in the overview.

But when we've finished batting this one around the court, we'll understand Mars much better than before. If I'm fundamentally wrong, then it will be a support for "Blue" Mars. If not, then we have to try different ideas.

The reason I keep saying "probably" is because nobody knows, least of all me. (At the same time, you might be amused that the science community berates me for being so definitive and certain. Once clearly cannot please all the people, all the time).
