That's right, there could be entire glacial plates of ice, hidden under a relatively thin layer of dry and desiccated dust, and we wouldn't know it from the Odyssey data, unless of course, we have a very high confidence level in the theoretical models which have led us (in particular, me) to come to that conclusion. However, the initial results lead me to believe that the wide swathe of polar ice detected, is in fact the water that is presumably missing from that dried and desiccated overlayer, evaporated, sublimated, transported and condensed onto the surfaces of the polar regions (vis-a-vis - lunar polar ice?). I also see a very clear and very large rounded plateau under the polar cap, that should contain another large and geologically different bulk of ice.

I also do see a relatively clear signal in the mid latitudes, however, something that neutrons trying to escape from a deeper layer might look like, but that's just spin, too.

I'm banned, remember? For calling Justin a 'BBS neo-republican', for banning someone for using the f-word, without the courtesy of even an explanation, to the casual and unaware BBS users. I can see that criteria doesn't apply anymore to this new and improved BBS. It really is improved, as you now have a separate 'Current Events' for the really hard core 'neo-republicans', and a separate 'Flame Board' for the disenfranchised like me. Congratulations, you've all come a long way since those early days.

Besides, I only rarely have access to the big screens necessary to make these javascripts work properly, and, well, I really don't think I have anything much to offer you, being a nut and all. :-)
