Yada, yada, yada.......
The word "space" is open to many things..it was the Space Board, not the Space Science board.
I brought up many subjects that were on the outer edges of "space".

I must admit, I dumped a lot of stuff there juist to get people to think from newer viewpoints.
Half the time I didn't take myself OR the subjects seriously.
But I learned a lot.

We all started to look at our worlds just a little differently back then.

But you have to admit, WE'LL never see space, and the delayed relays of scientific information gleaned from Mars probes is laboriously and painfully antiquated ON PURPOSE.
And the kind of Space we dreamed about that gave birth to Star Trek and Kubrick's 2001, is nothing more than a pipe dream.
Space will be militarized. The US Space Command owns it, controls it, and will use it to spy on you and the world, and destroy anything in it's path....including all our dreams.

That bbs finished at a particularly meaningful cycle.

May it rest in peace.
