Hell, if they'd elect Jesse Ventura, a Democrat would seem a bit mainstream, blase', pretty safe. Hubert Humphrey would seem like a Founding Father.

Didn't Harold Stassen come from Minnesota? The guy who ran for President more often that FDR.

I remember Ventura (and I think he must be related to that actor, or movie character) from wrestling, when he was teamed with Bobby Heenan for "color". They were great.

Wouldn't want him broadcasting from my state's capital, though. Even though it's had it's share of strange people.
