Great googaly moogaly...

An advocate of Marxism IS an advocate of totalitarianism.

"Economic system" my ass. Every, single, last Marxist regime that ever existed in history wound up a totalitarian, poverty-stricken hellhole that often deliberately murdered vast quantities of its own citizens and built death barriers to keep their people inside. A person capable of making normal neural connections might have caught a clue by now.

You cannot have Marxism without totalitarianism, anymore than you can make water molecules without hydrogen atoms. The very function of the Marxist economic system demands total control over the citizens. If you don't believe the theory, or can't handle the theory, look at the practical facts if nothing else.

This woman knows it damn well. Her fantasy is a totalitarian system with people like her in charge, and you don't have to talk to one of these people very long to realize it. I don't know her personally, but I have run into the same kind of people at Stanford and elsewhere, and the desire to control other people oozes from every pore.

"I pledge allegiance to building a better world where human needs are met and with real liberty, equality and justice for all."

The ability to hear utter bullshit from the mouth of a totalitarian and actually buy it is what brings about totalitarian governments in the first place. What totalitarians say and what they actually do are completely disconnected. Anybody can talk pretty. What are the actions?

Just for the record, which political and economic system ACTUALLY CREATES a "world where human needs are met?" Think carefully.

Pol Pot promised a better life for his citizens, usually in endless speeches. So did Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and the rest. Talk is cheap. Look at the actual results. For a change.

I put advocates of communism in exactly the same category as I would an advocate of National Socialism. When university administrations feel the same way, I'll shut up.
