<It's like me saying I'm an American and having a Frenchman claim that I must like stock fraud and insider trading, because that's what Americans do.

Had every last American in history been actually demonstrated to have committed stock fraud and insider trading, the Frenchman would be right.

And I don't give a rat's ass if Cloud specifically advocates totalitarianism or not. Her philosophy results in oppression and totalitarianism every time it's been tried. She may honestly believe that Marxism is possible in a democracy. She is still wrong, and the error makes her dangerous as an educator, because she's spreading a dangerous idea.

A person may honestly believe that sacrificing children on an altar will make the corn grow. Her good intentions still don't make child sacrifice a good idea, and my objecting to her philosophy doesn't mean I don't want the corn to grow.
