OBL is dead.

Here is some cynicism; his death would be openly presupposed but for the possible political imbarrassment of finding that he does indeed survive.

I believe that our motivation is the fear that Iraq is likely to provide terrorist with a nuke that could be delivered by suitcase, commercial shipping or medium/short range missle offshore. While the danger of chem/bio weapons is real, the nuke threat is the major factor that may justify war.

I do not believe that we are driven by any need to strike out at someone. Personally, our victory in Afghanistan satisfied my need for pay back and now I am only concerned for the future of my family.

If and when we strike Iraq, we will not be alone. We will be supported by much of the world community.
