I certainly see your point Bowser. If the suffering and death of animals were the issue, we'd pretty much all be guilty as charged.
But I think the operative words in Tom's post were "insert picture of your kid here..."
It's unlikely, I think, that US special forces medics, or the US govt in general, will be deliberately gassing Americans--or anyone else--anytime soon.
But we already know Saddam is fond of poison gas, and my suspicion is that bin Laden's psychos would probably get a big kick out of using it too...
