has a terrible price. And the worst of it is not the broken bodies, but the broken minds and spirits as well.
Refraining from violence can also have a price, in the same currency, and this also has to be considered. Without armed force in the right cause, most of the planet would currently be enslaved or exterminated by either Fascism or Marxism, or some unholy alliance of both.
Deciding the prices of all the alternatives, and judging which is worth paying, is where the difficulty is, and what is hopefully being discussed by reasonable people.
