Children's books
Just an addendum: In my personal opinion, kid's reading choices are vastly better nowadays than they were when I was a kid. The quality, the variety, the illustrations, and many other things seem to be an improvement over books I remember. Of course, this doesn't mean the old books were bad, just that there is so much more for kids now.
