I lose a minimum of 20 minutes every night reading book after book to my kid. 2 days ago she pulled two more books from the shelf and added them to the pile I was to read to her. That makes 6 books and sometimes she makes me read them twice! then last night when I went to get her favorites and didn't remember to include the 2 new ones she threw a fit of toddler proportions which didn't subside till I put the books on the pile. I now cower in fear that next time I take her to bed she will have discovered even more books and will thus lose <gasp> 30 minutes of valuable tv watching time every night.
