Give YOU a break?

I'll quit with all the "socialist/capitalist crap" when the socialists stop pointing guns at me and telling me that I should not only sacrifice half my life to their agendas, but smile while I'm doing it.

In case it hadn't occured to you, the idea that the Federal government claims the right to tell me under threat of armed force what the hell I can pay someone who chooses to work for me of his own free will is pretty much solid socialism right there. For that matter, if I wanted to work for less than minimum wage, who the hell are you to tell me I can't?

The original minimum wage was applied only to interstate commerce, or about 20 percent of workers, back before the Supreme Court "redefined" the Commerce Clause to mean that the Federal Government could do anything to any business anywhere and anytime, for any dumbass reason that happened to occur to it.

If you really want to learn something about the "minimum wage," and the false notion that millions of families with kids are suffering under it, try this.

The minimum wage has nothing to do with benevolence toward the poor, which the obvious negative effects on the employment rate should indicate, but has a lot to do with protecting unions and their wages from any form of competition.

Again, by your economics, the simple solution is to raise the minimum wage to $150 an hour. Can you tell me why this is not a good idea?
