We actually agree on something. It's football, damnit! It's a game meant to be played outside in the rain and snow. Besides, cold weather helps slow the bleeding. Damn, I love that game!
Quit reserving the Super Bowl for sissy domed stadiums or wussy warm weather cities. Let Green Bay, Buffalo, Denver, Kansas City, and the other cold weather cities have their turn. Given that Miami and New Orleans have had so many hosting opportunities over the years, it's someone else's turn.
From this reference:
SuperBowl 36 will be played in January. This will be the 9th Super Bowl in New Orleans.
Miami has hosted 8 times.
LA has hosted 7 times.
Tampa Bay has hosted 3 times.
San Diego has hosted twice, as has Atlanta.
Arizona, Detroit, Houston, Minneapolis, and Stanford have each hosted once.
It's high time that the SuperBowl was played in Lambeau Field! (And I'm a Broncos fan, but Green Bay is perhaps the greatest football town in America).
