Lived the Center City life for 4 years, then with baby on the way was left with a choice:
buy a 2 bed house in CC, or for much less money, buy a 6 bed house in University city (41st + Baltimore! All together now - "It's a small world after all").

It's about as far into the burbs as I ever want to get (famous last words).

I love Philly. It's one of the few big cities with a livable downtown, has world-class restaurants (as well as more than it's fair share of reasonable priced ones), great nightlife and sports teams that are escaping from the doldrums of the last 20+ years.

Hey, you, me and Mary Anne can start a PA-HB liberal loony club (if she ever gets done on the food and military posts on CE........)
