But there is also a place for private competition within Mass transit systems...
Unfortunatly, somewhere along the line (BA DUMP BUMP) the government took over the whole damn thing and established a monopoly.
Remember all those evil capitalist railroad barrons who accumulated way to much wealth by building railroads, Trolly lines, and such?
Where are they now? Most cities don't even have them now thanks to unfair competition from the government: the government funded a highway system that bankrupted them and then took them over...Brilliant move by the Government...NOT!
Somebody please kill AMTRAK!!!
And if Bowser wants to raise the tolls on the roads, please do! I want more of the road to myself! Get those poor bastards off the road. Their cars are unsafe, They smoke and put on maquera (sp?) while they drive, and I'm sick of having my SUV cut-off in traffic by thier rude kids who have a thing for flipping the bird at my mother.
If your to poor to pay the road taxes, then get off the damn road.
In fact, I'm for private roads! Pay me, and I'll let your sorry ass pass! then you can tax the income I generate from my road. That way I'm happy, the Government is happy, and the leftists who love trains are happy.
