Cars that are 5 years (and older) have to be checked up once a year.
I heard from Delbert that in California, it wasn't the case. In his street somebody got burned in his Van when a gas hose got a leak and his cigarette did the rest. He burned inside his Van.
I remember, when traveling in the US, seeing many many cars on the road,cars which we consider wrecks.
