You left it wide open for the journalist-style, selective (mis)quotation. Besides, I just like feigning outrage over a few paragraphs. These boards are the best da-n creative off-the-cuff writing assignments anyone could ever ask for from a writing class.
I expect we all will have more of our letters published by the Letters Editor of our favorite paper, after experiencing the volleys and counter-volleys of the current affairs board!
