Was it a busted sprinkler pipe?
At a previous office I worked at we had a sprinkler pipe bust over the weekend. No surprise the temperature had plunged below zero, that same weekend. The pipe was not insulated and was above our office's suspended accoustic tile ceiling. Normally such a pipe would be inside the building envelope except this building was a warehouse with offices built inside it. I'm not sure how well insulated the warehouse was.
5 computers became waterlogged. I took the covers off of all the computers and stuck them in front of heaters for about 6 hours before I felt brave enough to turn them on. Luckily all of the computers made it with the exception of 2 monitors.
