He meant the leaders of the left and socialist movements who are devout anti-capitalists. Not soccer moms who are caught up in the feel good anti-war, anti-imperialist rhetoric and who can't quote you page and verse from the Communist Manifesto.

You're not included in Tom's rhetoric - at least not until you become famous, start up a website or column railing against capitalism or organize "grass roots" protest movements - at that point I tend to think you WOULD be included with them.

I'll include you with "them" right NOW if you want - I wont be so unkind as Tom - to make you wait until you're famous or more of a firebrand activist. I tend to think you would wear such a brand of rightist ostracism, such as Tom's or mine tacit disapproval of your beliefs and activities, as a badge of honor.

Perhaps you already do.

However (I can tell due to my omniscient nature) we're slowly growing on you (like lichens on trees) and someday the great epiphany and conservative conversion will occur. (I expect not for another few lifetimes though. ;-)
