If I had been so careless as to get a girl pregnant, I would have been 80% culpable and 10% affected.
Notwithstanding the reasons for abortion, pregnancies are a result of having sex. A certain number will sucumb to the hormones and the lives of teens that get pregnant are adversely affected.
It is not necessarily a character flaw to have sex. I would have to leave it to others to judge whether or not it was a flaw in my case. It seemed like the thing to do at the time but like all things our atitude tends to change with age.
