I've criticized you in the past over this, so it seems like your apology might partly be directed at my ears. It's not really necessary. I read the thread at MSNBC and it seems like you held on to your composure for a long time. That was an impressive list of links to Earth images, too. You gave it a good shot. It was interesting to notice that Gary's use of caps diminished with time. He lowered his voice, anyway, while not raising his tone.
There are quite a few members of the anomalist tribe, notably Gary, The Bob, and James, who just don't mix with most members of this tribe. You're wise to save yourself the hassle and just avoid them, except at Justin's Flame BBS. I agree with Tom's position, but that's a personal preference and a matter of temperament. If you can't stand 'em, you shouldn't try to force it.
