Computers get faster and faster
<Motorola's Superchip
Moore's Law states that roughly every 18 months computers double in speed, and cost half as much. Similarly if your livelihood depends on computers you will be expected to complete twice as much work for half the wages. IMO this sucks. Already you can buy a computer for $1000 bucks, and even high-end software is available to anyone with a CD burner. All this means that while superhuman computer skills will be expected, they won't be worth squat.
