I dunno if this is really much of a problem
The core skills are easily transferable and highly valuable. Programming, database design and admin, graphic design, markup...learn as much as possible about the fundamentals of fields like these (and, needless to say, keep learning) and even with the technology changing at lightspeed, you'll remain an asset to your organization.
I guess I just try not to worry too much about what I can't control, and focus on the things that (hopefully) make me better at what I do.
