Dan A, You've sucked me in. Question; Why is the comets tail seen straight out at 180 degrees when at Perihelion from the Sun and not seen as a parhelic circle and with 22 degree tangent points of illumination? If indeed the comet tail was really parallel to the sun wouldn't we see some proof from illumination from the Sun with a 22 degree halo? Here's a Halo for you and another
