A perfect example. I referred to the Senators who pledged to block any Obama initiative as "Brownshirts", in reference to the National Socialist members of the Reichstag who pledged to follow Hitler rather than work for the good of Germany. A very similar parallel. Inflammatory, true, but entirely accurate.

What TB says I said is:

Now, I will admit that storming the vote counters in 2000 was also a Hitlerian tactic, which if done in Germany would have been a function of the Brownshirts.

It's not my fault they behave that way. If they don't like the term, let them act like mature human beings who have the interest of their nation and it's people in mind.

My initial post was ill-advised. This rebuttal is perfectly appropriate.
