Armageddon was just plain awful
True, it was sort of entertaining if you knew nothing about space or could completely turn off your brain for a couple hours. I have a hard time doing that. It'd be far easier to list the science they got right in that movie than the things they got wrong. Off hand, I can't think of a single thing they got right, other than perhaps the Russian's ability to repair things in a jam.
