Crap Mark? Hmmm. So Mr. genius, why do you suppose large animals like dinosaurs dont exist anymore? Let's hear your theory if you can come up with one. If anybody is full of $%#& it is you for thinking humans could have a happy colony and growing flowers on Mars in ten years. You have no idea of what really living on Mars would be all about. It was just a way to make money and sell books and that is all -- the selling of a dream much like a southern baptist sells you the stairway to heaven because you cannot accept the reality of dying one day.

As far as the issue of microbial life on Mars? There are enough bonified research papers out there to keep the case open and as long as there is just one % of doubt about it, humans can never even visit Mars until the case is solved. That is reality - not yours though.
