On my behalf, the minute I found out Maher did it I said it was wrong.
Now, rather than all these various songs and dances, some people could have said Limbaugh was wrong and been done with it. Common decency called for it. The lies, excuses, dodges, distortions and diversions have only extended the discussions and embarrassed the people who made them. It's just easier to be honest in the first place, rather than have to come up with all that tortured reasoning.
