But what about forest fires?
Or do those get blames on human activity?
The pointy is, there are many sources of carbon dioxide besides the burning of fossil fuels.
And has anyone ever researched human activity that "scrubs" CO2 from the air?
For example cutting down trees, building homes & furnature out of the trees and planting young trees in their place probably takes more carbon dioxide out of the air than it puts in...I would think young, fast growing, commercial species of trees would remove more CO2 from the air than old growth slow-growing trees.
Granted, the elimination of old growth forests is an environmental problem in and of itself... But on the greenhouse gas issue, it may actually be a good thing.
I think the greenhouse effect might be for real... But I don't believe that there will be a runnaway greenhouse effect that will destroy the Earth...
In fact, the greenhouse effect might be a good thing. We could use longer growing seasons in Iowa. The weather here favors only a few crops...A greenhouse effect would encourage agricultural diversity...Help my heating bills, and help my golf game. A win-win-win situation.
