I don't think you have a very objective view of Zubrin and the Mars Society. Anyone but you would have wondered...when you asked... "By the way Chris? Does Bob Zubrin ever qoute himself?" how does Zubrin's in quoting himself have anything to do with Chris' question about the origins of a quotation you sited. I think you could have just as easily asked the same question about my Mom and it would have made as much sense. BTW, neither of them are journalists.

Zubrin is a human being and mistake prone...just as you or I. Yes, he's President of TMS. There are lots of people holding office in organizations and governments that might better serve elsewhere...Zubrin in some peoples minds is one of them. And your point was? If you have a suitable candidate to replace him then present them to the TMS convention and during the Banquet and ask for a vote. This is how we do this sort of thing. Majority rules.
